Caring for your Black Swan leather item
Leather is a very durable material, and requires minimal maintenance. It has varying textures and patterns, thus making each piece unique in its shade and natural markings. To keep the leather in good condition for life, we have some care instructions below:

Applying a natural leather moisturiser every few months, will preserve your colour and leather.

To keep your leather clean, you can brush your leather item down with a slightly damp cloth or a soft fabric. For stubborn marks, use a leather cleaner as directed and follow with a leather conditioner.

Liquid can stain leather if not wiped away immediately. Blot, do not rub excess liquid with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use any soaps or cleansers.

Try to avoid getting your leather very wet and do not store in direct sunlight.

Leather needs to breathe, thus do not store your item in plastic containers. Store your leather item in a cool, dry place, or in a soft cloth bag.

Do not allow cosmetics, hand creams or perfumes to come into contact with your leather item. Also, do not administer any chemical treatments to your leather item.
It is important to note that any genuine leather item will age with time. it will change colour and get a character of its own, which is part of leather's beauty. Taken care of correctly, your item will last you a life time.
